Hi. Just received this player and have noticed intermittent spike noises on the audio output, both through the 5.1 o/p and scart to TV speakers. Anyone had this and know a cure? have tried mains filter and check for RF spikes from heating / fridge etc but no luck .
Player has now been replaced with a modified version that works correctly. Thanks to Jo for the thread info which helped sort this one out. George.

Hi
This is a known problem with some of these players if you use the onboard 5.1, I have one myself but the problem is not evident as I use a seperate AV amp for audio playback. From what I recall there was quite a lengthy thread somewhere about a batch of Yamada 2100's bought from Ebuyer that exhibited the problem, I'll have a look around and see if I can find it and post a link.

New blu-ray disc "Never Say Never Again" and "From Russi With Love" won't get passed disc menu. When I press play or pick a scene in just keeps coming back to title menu.
