Where on this computer is the options page that contains Update definitions so I can download the definitions file

    What kind of computer what Operating System are you running and what definitions are you wanting to update?

I have not solved the problem but feel I should hand it over to webroot spyware as I think that is where the problem originates. thanks for your quick response.

Won't sweep


Lots of people seem to be having the same problem,i reccomed you download the free version of "spyware doctor" (its free for ever,once you got it),you can download it at www.google.com/packs (limited time only!) spyware doctor it great! it scans your pc in less than 10 mins! and its fast!

Spy Sweeper won't sweep


I have seen this problem a couple times. The only fix that seems to work is uninstalling Spysweeper and then reinstall it again. If you go to start>Programs>webroot you will see an uninstaller. Run that, reboot the computer, then reinstall again from your install disc.

Use Norton-Cleensweep to uninstall.

Webroot spysweeper won't sweep


you either have a demo version which when given update would ask you to buy it.... else its definition would have got corrupted... so update it,,,,

Option Page location


This is more than likely a message from your Anti-Virus program. Quick fix would be to uninstall your anti virus program and reinstall it. Or you can just uninstall this AV program and install the free AV program called AVG. Click on AVG to download it. Hope this helps.
