Kenwood w-3537 how to turn off demo mode

To turn off the Demo mode you need to:

Press source button, then select stand by mode.

Using the FM/AM button select Demo display

To set the demo mode hold the source button for 2 seconds
it will switch from on and off.

If this doesn't help I have included a link of the manual, it's on page 25.

I'm unable to turn off the "demo" mode on a jvc KD-R210 car stereo. When I follow the directions on the instruction sheet "demo off" does not come up as an option. Any ideas?

hold your sel button until it takes you into your menu and use your track skip buttons till you get to DEMO and turn your volume knob to the left until it says off and then press select again to get out of your menu. :)

How do i set the time and remove the demo setting

Hello again johnworley6,

To set the time and/or cancel the demo mode, you need to enter "PSM" mode. Do this by pressing and holding the "sel" button for 4 seconds. Use the left/right rocker switch to select the item. Turn the "volume" knob up/down to change the item. Press "sel" again the exit PSM mode.

So to turn demo mode off: 1) Press and hold "sel". 2) Press right until "demo" is displayed. 3) Turn volume knob until "demo off" is displayed. 4) press "sel" again to exit PSM.

To set the time: 1) Press and hold "sel". 2) Press right until "CLOCK H" is displayed. 3) Turn volume knob until correct hour is set. 4) Press right until "CLOCK M" is displayed. 5) Turn volume knob until correct minutes are set. 6) Press "sel" to exit PSM.

Hope this helps. If it does, please rate as "FixYa".

On my Kenwood kdc-mp339 car cd unit unit I cannot disable the demo feature that scrolls across the led face as it says you can in the manual. Cannot get the option to disable demo , Thanks for any help

Just figured it out - you have to put the player in Standby mode (by pressing SRC till you find it) first.

Then hold down the bass boost button (as the manual says). When MENU pops up, scroll down to DEMO ON and then hold down the centre button of the conrol knob till it changes to DEMO OFF.

hi your loud function is called bass boost B.BOOST when you press the button it switches between BOOST1, BOOST2, BOOST OFF each time the button is pressed.
