Hi, During a call can you turn the call volume up and see if this will make a difference if not the chances are the speaker will need replacing. Not the loud speaker that plays the music but the ear piece speaker!!

It could just mean that the ear speaker needs to be checked it is sitting in the phone properly because if it is not it wont complete the circuit and give the problem you are having!!

Hello there.

Please visit here to troubleshoot your iphone not working correctly. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306910
It sounds like it may be a good idea to take it back to your service provider, for warranty checkup or replacement.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

Phone noisy just on my end

Could be loose speaker in Ear end. or loose wires inside or
loose or bad wires going to the phone.
You can take it apart and try things or while talking wiggle the cord
and see if it makes the noise . or while talkin , hit the ear end with
your knuckle and see if that is where the problem is.
Probably best to buy a new phone for $10 or get one at Goodwill
or the thrift store

Ringer volume

well there either should be a switch on the outside of the phone or on the answering machine part, but also, if there is a + and - button on the actually phone part to turn the ear piece up, when you are not on the phone, hit the + button and you should hear the ringer, hit it until its the loudest.

People can hear me speak but I can't hear them

Sound inducers do go bad. Normal the same audio amplifier is used for both the ear piece and the speaker. Since the speak does work, it sounds like the ear piece has died.

I can hear the on hold message when the receiver is on the hook...

You can try pressing the feature key and then dialing 26. This is used to set background music on the extension when the phone is at rest. It also turns it off. This is on the dtu16 phones. Here is a link that has most of the user manuals for NEC phones. you should be able to find your manual here. http://www.neccare.com/cng/docs.nsf/Lib3?OpenView&Start=1&Count=100&Expand=6.13#6.13

HI I HAVE AN HTC 8125 PHONE AND I CANNOT HEAR ANYTHING WHEN TALKING TO SOMEONE. I HAVE TO PUT IT ON SPEAKER..

Sounds like a bad receiver in your phone. The speaker is seperate from the hand set ear receiver. If you have more than one of these phones try swapping the hand sets to test the suspect one.

Ear piece not functioning

Yes that is a problem I see, but to be very candid it should not be related to the battery replacement, and more from getting bumped around. Did you happen to move? Nevertheless, it is usually from an internal component failure or solder break inside the phone (unless your volume is turned down, but even at the lowest level its audible). Did you happen to use a headset? Sometimes excessive tension from the headset cable will break the receive circuit you could check the solder joints. But to be candid, it sounds as if you need to send it in for repair. You can find some options by googling ... Panasonic cordless telephone repair. The kx-tc1484b is a nice phone, good range, and normally very durable, certainly worth fixing.

Avaya Partner-18D office phone-After an intercom call, the receiver's phone rings

Try hitting the speaker button and intercom your boss. When you hit the speaker button to hang up, do you get the same thing? If not. It could be that the gray "clicker" switch that pushes down when you put the handset back isnt going all the way back down...

Let me know.

Can't hear clearly

I have opened the phone up and changed the wires for the Speaker phone and the ear speaker. As long as I answer the phone using the orange SP-Phone button it works well.
