a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I cannot get or send emails. my server is not working

This indicates either an incorrect password or server settings. Make sure your account is setup as follows:

Incoming Mail Server:
Port: 993 (this should be automatically populated if you tick the SSL Encryption)
SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)
Username: your email address including the @btinternet or part
Password: your btinternet password
Root folder/path:
Folder separator: . (full stop)
Please do NOT enable "secure password authentication" (SPA). It's not needed when you use SSL encryption and won't work.
If your IMAP client supports it, we recommend you also set up the following folders:
Sent Items
Port: 995 (this should be automatically populated if you tick SSL Encryption)
SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)
Username: your email address including the @btinternet or part
Password: your btinternet password
POP from folder: By default, POP will pull emails from your Inbox
Outgoing Mail Server:
Port: 465 (this may not be automatically populated on selection of SSL, so you'll need to check this)
SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)
Authentication: PLAIN
Username: your email address including the @btinternet or part
Password: your btinternet password

How do I log on to my account? What information you need? If you want my account number I would like to know who you are? Who is "fixya"

You must never pass on your password. Normally one needs the user name and password. That is it, you're in.

I con t connect to my facebook what can I do?

If it is just a case of Username & Password problems, then you could try this, go to the login page here:,
just under where you input your password you can click on "forgotten password". This takes you to a page where it says "find my account" where you can enter "Email, Phone, Username or Full Name". Try entering one of these (My email gave the best result for me) and follow through the instructions to reset your password so that you can access your account.
If you have a different problem then There are a number of options here depending upon what you have lost, ie you can't log in, your facebook page has been locked and you can't change it, or it no longer appears to exist. I could go through them all but it has already been done here:
How To Recover Your Facebook Account When You Can No Longer Log In

It details the methods you can try depending upon the exact circumstances.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

I've forgotten my username and password to sign into my ny times account is there another step I can take in order to recover my account and log back in?

You'll need to contact NY Times support to have your password reset. Go online and try to sign in. There should be an option that says "forgot password" and/or "forgot username". Going this route should send a new password to the Email address you used when you created the account.

Cant login saying email address is wrong

If you believe the username and the password are correct, but still can not log in, try to remove all cookies and restart your laptops. Then try again to log in your email

I can't log in to my face book account

Hi on your browser window go up the top where you will find Tools then you will need to click here and go to the next item where it says clean recent history when you click here make sure all your boxes are ticked and specially where it says cookies once this has been done.

Up the top in browser bar type Http:// then log in this way try not to use a saved bookmark or google facebook this can lead to a hacker stealing your log in information...If you still can't log in click where it says forgot your password and facebook will email a new password to your email address that you used for facebook..Then you enter your email address in your login section and your new password that facebook sent you in your email and you should be good to go need more help contact me :)
