Should have come with a card. Or you can just call them. Number should be with the paper work.

Goodman furnace wont start only makes buzzing sound

I assume this is the blower motor that is buzzing? Wild guess is bad bearings. Looks like a well used motor. If me, I'd replace the motor, and should have a warranty for a few years. If this is too much for you, get your friendly furnace dealer to replace it.

I am trying to register the warranty of my goodman furnace, but the serial code of my furnace is not valid, this code I got from my furnace

Okay, the serial number that you enter at Goodmanmfg.com should be 10 digits long. I sometimes have trouble enterring unit for warranty purposes and because I have mild case of dylexia, I sometimes transpose numbers. You may check the order of the 10 digits again when you write them down and again when you enter them into the website. If someone else has inadvertantly enterred your serial number for another unit because they enterred the wrong number, you will not be able to register your unit on line. You will need to the call the warranty desk of Goodman and register it with them over the phone. They will probably send a message to whoever the number is currently registered so the correct number can be updated on their unit. If for nothing else the people I have talked to at Goodman warranty are really nice people and they will help you get this straightened out. You can always get your contractor to register the unit if he has not already done it. I do it for my clients all the time and I try to remind them I have it registered. You might call them and see if they did it with out your knowledge.
Hope this helps

Your furnace should have a 5 year warranty. Check with Goodmanmfg.com and see if it is still covered. The installer should have registered the serial #.

I HAVE A 45000 BTU GOODMAN FURNACE RED LIGHT

There may not be a call for heat being registered by the control board. Take the R and W terminals on the control board and put a jumper between the two. If the heater starts, you have either a broken thermostat wire or a bad thermostat or connection.

My goodman furnace model gms95 has gone ape. when the thermostate calls for heat, the furnace kicks on and starts to cycle but it wont stay on long enough to reach the set temp, before it kicks off. and it...

It sounds like your furnace is cycling off because your high temperature limit is tripping. This could be caused by a restriction of intake or outlet airflow. First thing to check is your intake air filter, clean or replace as needed. If that doesn't help, make sure your warm air registers are open, a rule of thumb is at least 60% of the total registers need to be open for adequate airflow. The high temp limits will reset themselves after they cool so that would explain it taking a few "cycles" to reach desired temperature. Good luck and please rate my answer if it was helpful.

Furnace is 4.5 years old. Is the induction fan motor still under warranty?

Hi,
According to this site your furnace has a five year warranty on all parts.
You will probably have to find a dealer near you that sells the product to get your warranty parts.

http://www.alpinehomeair.com/viewproduct-453055773.htm

Also checkout this site there is alot of good info there... the warranty may be 10 years. Sometimes it works better ofr the homeowner to contact the manufacturer directly and then let them get a contractor to call you.

http://www.goodmanmfg.com/

I have never dealt with Goodman so I'm not going to say which way will be the best. I would say try a dealer and if you don't get the help you need then call the company directly.

I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!

Thanks for using Fixya!!

Needs to register equipment for extended parts warranty for a goodman air conditioning & heating

there should have been paper work with the homeowners kit. If not goodman will mail the warranty info but you will need the installation invoice or receipt. The agreement is with goodman and the homeowner directly.
