Recheck the exchange/mail server properites and confirm they are correct. Also, check and see if it is set to Cached Exchange mode.

In Office 2007, select Tools > Accounts Settings. Then make sure the correct email account is selected and select Change while the Email tab is selected.

I get this message on my computer that says 'Your Microsoft Exchange Server is Unavailable." How do I make it available?

By the sounds of it you are using Outlook 2007 or 2010
to download your email from sites like hotmail and Yahoo you need POP3 not Exchange. Exchange is a Microsoft Email server used by companies.

to remove the exchange section in outlook you need to go to the "Configuration Panel" then click on "Mail" in there you will have a profile called "Outlook" click on "Email acounts" and remove the item that says "Exchange" then click "Add " tick the box "Manually selct settings" select POP3 and add the details for your email as per their instructions

Pop ups asking for email passwords in Outlook 2003

It's like they told you, its a Microsoft issue, sort of.

The application has a corrupt registry key, reinstalling the application, the MS outlook 2003 will 'magically' fix the problem.

The only other thing that makes that window pop up, besides the obvious, which is you reset your password, is when you are trying to cross a domain. And if you asking in your head, what is that, then you probably not doing it. It doesnt happen by accident.

Just re-install the software, takes 5 minutes, and brings years of relief...hehe

oh, to test my theory, set up outlook express with the same settings you have in your outlook 2003. You probalby have outlook express already installed on your computer, just click on start, all programs, outlook express, if you dont see it, its a free download,

just go to google.com and type in download outlook express and install it, then open it, click on tools up at the top, then accts, then mail tab, then add

type in the info its asking for , like your pop servers name, and the smtp server

the default ports are 110 for incoming, and 25 for outgoing

spin

.

How to receive e-mail at more than one p.c.

Hi,

Generally users of POP3 email like to download messages to their PC and take them off the central server. But sometimes you'll want to leave them there so you can access them again. Like most other mail client applications, Outlook Express can be configured to leave messages on the server indefinitely or for a specified period of time.

How to Set Outlook Express To Leave Email Messages On The Server
Open Outlook Express
Select Tools/Accounts.
Click on the Mail tab, highlight YourAccount and click on the Properties button.
Click on the Advanced tab.
In the Delivery section, select the checkbox to Leave of copy of messages on server.
Select the appropriate checkbox to delete the messages from the server after a certain number of days or until the messages are deleted from the Deleted Items in Outlook Express. (Do also check you mailbox size from your internet provider, If you get a lot of emails you may fillup your mailbox fast)

For Outlook 2003
go to Tools > Options.
Select the Mail Setup tab from the Options dialog, and click E-mail Accounts.
Select the email account and click Next
Under the Delivery section of the Advanced tab, Checking the Leave a copy of messages on the server checkbox instructs Outlook 2003 to leave a copy of your emails on the server indefinitely

You will find the same options on all email software. Once you have Set this on all the computers, you will get the same mails on each one.

Hope this helps. Please rate your feedback!
Thanks,
VJ
