When I'm in main menu and click music it says disc error. What do I do? How do I listen to the music?

Your music files might have corrupted. Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer’s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

I mistakenly formatted my portable mp3 player (ipod) thus It keep displaying error in disc on the screen each time i switch it on and try to access it. Please what can I do.

Plug your ipod into your computer, and open iTunes. You should be able to restore it from there (back to normal operation, however, your music will be gone).

Mp-c841(256mb) keeps giving a error--DISC ERROR...what does that mean...and the music won't come on because of the error...i changed the battery...but still get DISC ERROR

Make sure the hold switch is not engaged first - see p.15 of your manual for location.

Also, you may get that msg if you tried to load a DRM-protected file or an iTunes song (anything other than mp3 format is generally going to give you a problem with this player).

Mp4 says disc error

1. There is a reset button at the back of the player. Press it with a paper clip.

If that doesn't fix the problem:

2. Update the firmware by downloading it from the Samsung website. You will be able to locate the software by clicking on the Support link.

If the updated firmware doesn't solve the problem then the problem is hardware.

You won't be able to fix it if it is a hardware fault so don't even try to open the unit. You will need to return it and have it fixed under warranty.

Error message " battery is too low system shutdown"

Try removing the battery from the back and re-seating it.

They become loose if they are dropped, or handled roughly.

Best of Luck.

Lexar problem

You need to change your USB Port... try the back of your computer. Or you need a firmware update.
