A common problem with this manufacturer I'm afraid. The screw thread of the glass almost welds itself to the metal casing it screws into.
It will turn and you can remove it however, the easiest way is to get leverage on the glass. This is best done by using a Baby Boa Strap Wrench, which you can pick up for a few pounds in a DIY store. I have removed many apparantly stuck round glass oven lamp covers in this way.
Hi, it feels like your oven element has gone.
switch it off from the mains, open the door and remove the screws fixing the back panel. You will find a round two turn element. Unscrew the element fixings and check the element for burnt marks, corrosion. If you have a multi meter, turn it to buzzer and use the meter leads to test the element connections. If it doesn't buzz, it's dead. Just needs replacing.
Hi, the fan is one part and the bulb another. They are not connected. If the bulb isn't working simply unscrew the bulb lens and replace the bulb. About the fan motor, sometimes they cease up because the build up of grease at the back of the oven. You can try to remove the insid back plate that covers the element and fan, and try to rotate the fan manually. Try to clean it and test again. Last resource, it needs a new fan motor.
there are more than one type of bulb for these ovens, the most important thing is that you get one that is rated to withstand temperature of 300oC, or they will shatter with the heat.
Plz rate my solution.
no connection between lights on fan. problem is that bulbs these days are poor quality (but cheap) it is common for these circular elements to go. usually last about 2 years. worth checking tho that fan is turning at right speed
