Phones begin to lose their charge for many reasons. The most common is due to a faulty battery. Check with the phone manufacturer about the type of battery that you have. As batteries get old, they can develop a memory. This means that if the battery once held a full charge of 10, then now it only has room to hold a charge of 7. This means that you are going to have a much shorter usage time and that you will have to recharge it more often. The solution is normally to purchase a new battery.
Oh dear. 4 hours isn't going to get you far thru the day. With the battery in fair health it should still last you all day with regular use (at least). Due to the nature of rechargeable batteries, the battery life with gradually get lower as time goes on.
As a rule, it should still hold 85% of it's original charge after 1 year.
If you are getting less than this and you have had it less than 1 year, the manufacturer (LG) should replace it under it's warranty (in some countries you may have longer)
Further warranty information, and to submit a warranty claim, Visit the LG support page or refer to the original manual.

Batteries are also available at amazon and eBay (be careful to avoid fakes)
Good luck
Older LG phones use a universal charger that looks like a silver medal tube. They are very susceptible to breakage by bumping. This is probably what happened to yours. Unfortunately, the only fix is to have it repaired or replaced in store.
Since
you have try several battery, the problem is not battery problem, the
problem could be either of any of this two, it might be a charger
problem, i will suggest you try using a similar charger to charge the
phone, see if it will charge, if it is not charger problem, then, the
problem is the charging port of your phone. The charging port of your
phone is bad and will need to be replace. once the charging port is
replaced, the problem is solve.
Lithium Ion Batteries are more forgiving then the old Nickel Hydride batteries. They do not have memory cells but "charge cycles" usually about 300-400 or so (enough for 1 charge a day for 1 year hence the 1 year warranty on a battery) ... On/off, 24hrs or 12hrs doesn't make a a noticeable difference.
What you do want to do is NOT make it a habit of texting/phone while it's on the charger. That is the kiss of death on a battery.
Throw it on the charger before bed and let it rest. Also, make sure your display settings aren't set to destroy the battery (100% brightness, backlight set to more then 30 seconds/"always on" etc.)
it should be fine. Don't expect the battery to last days. Most batteries last *A* day in exchange for no memory cell =)
if you already change the battery;' theres no problem with the battery; i think the problem is software try to reset the factory setting if dosen't work/ reinstall software
It depends on how much talking your doing. The Slvr is known for its low talk-time battery power. My slvr would last about 3 to 4 days on a charge, unless i was talking on it a lot. sometimes i would be charging it every other day. So it really all depends on the talk-time. Invest in a car charger for sure.
