Back cover is broken - Nokia 6220 classic Smartphone

Hi Is three sample resolution
:
1 electric cable broken
2 pushed bottom broken
3 thermal fuse broken
Check cable ,change pushed bottom open the standing cover , exchange thermal fuse open back dryer cover. Usually is the fuse.

This just happened to my hotpoint washing machine, I realise it has been a long time since this has been asked but since my answer is different from the others I thought I'd add it anyway in the hope it will be useful to someone one day. The fix was super easy, all that was wrong was the plastic knob itself, which had broken internally. I only found this out after taking the top and front covers off, which is an easy enough procedure, I did it this way: unplugged the washing machine, removed two screws from back of machine that hold top cover in place, then using a putty knife pushed between the top and front covers front to back right at the corners, thus releasing the top cover, once this was out I could unclip the front cover and get to the screws that hold the control board to the front cover. I unplugged the electrical connection to the board, removed all the screws and unclipped it from its plastic cover. At this point I could see the plastic knob had broken, I recovered the broken bit and glued it back on. After the glue dried, I just put everything back in place reverting the previous actions. Hope this helps. If you don't have glue or can't find the broken piece, you should be able to just buy another plastic knob off the internet.

there is a switch that the cover has a lever to press its embedded inside the machine with a small opening above it where the cover lever inserts to press it down. chances are its broken. take a stick or piece of tightly folded paper and press it in you will see it says the printer cover is closed. See if you find the broken part and stick it back on the cover, replace the cover or simply wedge the switch in place .. any of those will fix your problem.

there is possibly a switch actuator that has broken on the cover. check cover for any missing or broken pins on the cover. jaime

You will probably have a broken hinge at the back left hand side of the Doc. cover.
This means that the cover won't close properly at the back corner, and the cover sensing switch won't actuate.

buy a secondhand machine same model and strip it down for parts
plenty of spares if you do it right

Look for a switch where the door shuts. Either the tab on the door that hits the switch is broken or the switch is loose or broken.

the only way is to buy a new body for the phone.please give your phone to a nearby motorola autherised store.you should replace your cover otherwise there is chance of battery damage.if you are convinced please rate me

Maybe there is broken at the back cover try to check again the back cover,inspect the cover very well .

This is most likely caused by the back cover switch. It is either broken or the lever on the back cover is broken off.
