Yesterday I switch off my Phone and then switch on.now,it is displying enter SECURITY CODE,but i have not yet set any security code.
Please give me solution.

Might you enter security code to several times and now it will result to counter block.
To fix this this problem,follow this method :
1. turn off your phone 2. remove battery (for 30-1 hour) 3. put the battery back 4. then enter the desire code which is 1111 as you've said.
We do this method to reset the security counter,now if this method does not work,you can bring the phone to any mobile service center near you so the code will read or either reset the code by a gsm gadget.
Switch off the Nokia 2690 Cell Phone. Remove the battery for 30 minutes. Reinsert the battery and switch on the Nokia 2690 Cell Phone. Enter the default code 12345 or 00000. Your Nokia 2690 Cell Phone will be unlocked.

have you typed any security code before you switched off your phone? try typing 1234 or 0000. if this works then follow this steps:
1. click menu 2. select settings 3. select security settings 4. go to change security code (it will ask you for your ask you for the code, type 1234 or 0000) 5. at enter new security code: (you must enter a code which you can remember easily) 6. at verifying your code: type again your code 7. security code changed

if u have buy vew nokia 5200 then go to phone settings
menu>settings>phone settings>security keyguard>security code:12345>on
you can change this code from menu>settings> security>access codes>change security code>enter old code:12345>then enter new code.
use the nokia softare updater to reinstall the firmware on your phone.it will format your phone memory and reinstall the firmware or update it if there is a newer version.
Sir I entered Menu ...tools...settings......security...phone and sim....lock code ... Here it asks for a lock code ..which i have forgotten,... I entered many codes but it ain't working and it is not asking for a master code... It just says ... lock ocde entered incorrect five times phone will unlock in five minutes... Please guide what to do...
