Question about Washing Machines
I was having very much the same issue. My washer wouldn't drain (wouldn't go into the fast spin to initiate drain).
My husband followed Fixums instructions for removing the front panel of the washing machine.
He used a shop vac to empty the washer and also to **** any debris out of the drain tube.
What ultimately ended up working was removing the pump and finding out that there was lint (as well as a quarter from someones pocket) blocking the pumps flow.
He removed all the blockages and put the pump back in - everything is working like a charm now!!!! Spins, rinses and empties properly again! Good for another 100,00 loads!! =)

Remove the fount panel it is held in place with 2 phillips screws located ant the bottom of the frount panel,
use a putty knife and locate the top holding clips push in with the putty knife and lift up on one side of the top repeat for the other side
once the top is lifted up push down on the frount panel and it will come off
pump on the right side check drain pipe for blockage also while checking pump
naturally drain the tub if you have a wet dry vac fastest way
