Depending on what you have, there is either a recharger for the batteries, or perhaps you have a cable that connects from your xbox to your controller, that will recharge your wireless controller as well.

So check to see if you have the recharger... or the cable, and you should be able to play in no time.

Xbox 360 controllers wont sync when using the rechargable battery packs instead of the 2 AA cell batteries provided with the controllers. Have tried hitting the sync buttons on both the console and...

Opt out the easy way and put a rechargeable battery pack in the controller and use a plug and play controller cord to connect the console to the controller and , voila!, they should be now sync'd to each other.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

Keep losing connection with controller and console

try getting new batteries if you have a rechargeable battery pack plug in the charger then dissconnect. If this doesn't work it could be two things either your controller or the 360 cant sent out wireless signals for yor 360. To fix this try a different controller or send it in if you still have a warrenty

Controller wont hook up with console ?

Is this a new controller?
Are the batteries new/recharged?

This is the sequence summary on where you are going to focus:
Step 1 - Controller
Step 2 - Console
Step 3 - Console
Step 4 - Controller
Step 5 - Both

Assuming your controller is a wireless version, Lets start!

Step 1 | Press and hold the Xbox Guide button until the controller turns on. The Xbox Guide button is the round button with the green "X" near the center of the controller.

Step 2 | Make sure that your Xbox 360 console is turned on. If your Xbox 360 console is not turned on, press the power button. The power button is the large round button on your Xbox 360 console.

Step 3 | On the Xbox 360 console, press and release the Connect button. The Connect button is the small round button on the Xbox 360 console.

Step 4 | On the controller, press and release the Connect button. The Connect button is the small button on the front edge of the controller, between the left bumper button and the charging port.

Step 5 | After the Ring of Light spins and flashes one time on the controller and on the console, the controller is connected. The quadrant on the Ring of Light that remains lit indicates the position in which the controller is connected.

Light indicator on console
Green light in the center- power is on
Green light on one quadrant - controller is connected
Four green lights rotating on four quadrants - ready to connect with controller

Light indicator on wireless controllers
No lights - no batteries
Green steady light on one quadrant - connected
Blinking green lights - its either its ready to connect or the batteries are dying

*Make sure that you have a fully recharged rechargeable batteries
*Make sure that you have a functioning/new non-rechargeable batteries
*If the steps above aren't working use another Xbox360 controller and follow the same steps.

If the new/working controller is connecting with the console this means that the previous controller is faulty - needs replacement.
If the new/working controller is not connecting with the console this may mean that the console is faulty - needs repair.

*NEVER TAMPER WITH ANY OF THE TWO AS TAMPERING WILL VOID EXISTING WARRANTY.

Help!

Seems that the battery is low on power, when the controller is connected to the usb port of the ps3, all leds should start flashing, this show that the battery of the controller is recharging, when done the leds go off.
Note that before the leds start flashing that it can thake up an minute before it starts doing that.
Keep your ps3 on to recharge the controller.

Succes.

Wireless controls wont synch to sytem i changed batteriespressed both little buttons but controller just keeps on blinking

First I'd test the batteries in another device to make sure they actually are full. Rechargeable batteries are great in the long run and also generate less waste.

I had the same problem with a Microsoft wireless controller. It just showed it synced fine (the four leds blinked in order 1234 and then all flashed like it's connected) and the controller dropper off the rig immediately after that, keeping blinking idly as always when unconnected.

Solution: When you power the console on with the X button on the controller, try pressing the connect button on the controller then, apparently the console looks for controllers when it's just opening the user interface and it somehow synch better at that moment. Had to try it twice but it synced fine just as I was giving up hope, and has been working ever since!

Hope I could help!

Xbox 360 wireless controller not connecting.

it sounds like your controller keeps losing sync with the 360.

- turn them both off
- turn on the 360 with the power button on the console
- wait for it to start up, then press the sync button next to the usb flap on front.
- then press the sync button on the controller (by the recharge connection slot)

That should reset it.

Controllers will not connects at all.

I have the issue mostly when the batteries are about to die, Try changing the batteries, or if you are using a play and charge kit (sold seprately) connect it to your xbox 360 and one of the front usb ports. Or replace the rechargeable battery.
