SOURCE: Error message 004-321?

I HAD the same problem...a couple of posts up/down, someone suggest to re-align the film roll on the Drum. This worked for me. There are two wheels on the outer-side of the film reel (the film reel is one of two reels on the main top drum). Take out the drum, not the green reel, but the other one. Check both ends and you can se/feel two little silver metal wheels (again, at the ends). Roll the film around with your fingers until it is aligned evenly with the wheels. The metal on the wheels should not be showing at all, they should both be covered by the film reel. Replace the drum and cross your fingers. This worked for me...I'm sure a NEW drum would fix the problem, as well.

What is error 004 and what do I do about it

This error refers to the communication error between the printer and its connection. To help you troubleshoot the issue, please follow the steps mentioned below:
-Turn the printer off using the power switch located on the printer panel.
-Wait 10 seconds, turn the printer back on, and check if the error message still occurs.
-If the error persists, reseat all of the toner cartridges. For more information about reseating toner cartridges, refer to the user's guide for your printer manufacturer.
-While reseating, clean the toner cartridges with clean cloth and verify that the orange plastic covers have been removed from the developer rollers.
-Turn off the printer, and disconnect the AC power cable and communication cable (Ethernet or USB, depending on set-up).
-Remove the Imaging Drum and verify that the developer rotor frame is not bent. If the frame is bent, please contact printer manufacturer to replace it.
-With the Imaging Drum removed, Open the front cover and then push on the toner cartridge handle to determine if the carousel moves freely.
-Reconnect the AC power cable, turn on the printer, and check. If the error still occurs, please contact your printer manufacturer for further advice.

010 397 Error Message on Dell 5100cn

The following steps are the troubleshooting steps that should be followed for error code 010 397.
First, the definition of the failure is <IOT Fuser Failure>, and means a Fuser Error is detected.

1) With power off, reseat the fuser by physically removing it from the printer, then reinstalling it and locking it in place. Turn the power back on. ( if the error is still present, proceed to step 2 ).

2) If reseating the fuser did not resolve the problem, Replace the fuser with a known good fuser.
( if problem is not resolved, proceed to step 3)

3) Replace the LVPS ( low voltage power supply ). ( if problem not resolved, proceed to step 4 ).

4) Replace the PWBA MCU ( printed wiring board assembly - machine control unit ).

END of troubleshooting.........

In most cases, the fuser itself is the problem. If you tried to reseat or replace the fuser while power was still on, the LVPS could have been damaged just as if there were an electrical storm.

Hopefully this helped.

HP LASERJET 4PLUS PRINTER-PRINT OUT BLANK PAPER AND WITH ERROR MSG 41.3

Get a new printer.

Serious if it is happening repeatedly and it is not because of corrupt data like a bad file being sent to it, then tis biga buckas any way you go, replacing the laser or the Main Control Board. From your description it will be laser, laser units wear out because inside is a little motor working real hard and eventually they wear out or main board the brains behind the operation has lost the plot

here is the code description from manual
41.X Printer Error
A temporary printing error has occurred. The page containing the error will automatically be reprinted. If the error persists:
1. Reseat the connections to the laser scanner and then to the engine controller board.
2. Replace the laser scanner.
3. Replace the engine controller board.
