So i bought the Sakar webcam and i have lost the instellation disc, what or where can i go/do to get the sofware for the webcam?

1st You download Webcam Driver.
So i bought the Sakar
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Well the only way that u can get the soft ware is if you cotact the company that manufactures the camera. Look on the instruction booklet, there will be a number to contact.

I have installed the Kodak S101 Webcam software on my PC. The ControlCenter opens, but the webcam does not run. Why is this?

Try to download from their official web page. Or just download this Driver Update Software for XP Vista 7 8 and make the update. Cheers

Lost disc how do i set up my webcam without one

visit the website and download the drivers from there

Look for the 'Download' box to the right of the Camera pic

Vivitar (Vivicam) was actually bought by a company name SAKAR, and sakar has the database on drivers for Vivitar's products, you can actually contact Sakar and as for the drivers for your camera. they may either mail you a CD or get you a link where to get the drivers since vivitar's website can no longer be accessed as vivitar.
