Washed any coins lately? I had a front loading washer and when mine did that it was still under warranty so the service came out and pulled a quarter out of the drain trap. If you not sure where that is contact me
try and clear prog memory .what to do is set prog knob to an off position where the black spot is then switch on machine the red light will flash quickly then slow down. when it does switch machine off then select program and switch on and it should be ok.if not it could well be a main fault on pcb .indesit boards are not very good .hope this helps.
may be a blockage in the sump hose or pump feed hose or the pump itself may be faulty. the dial will click round to tell you there is a fault. to reset turn the dial onto every DOT and turn on for 10 secs then off and onto the next dot it will flash for a couple of seconds to confirm.
This a common problem with Indesit washers..
It is not a timer but a programme selector switch.
What you need to do is the following.
Switch the m/c on, let the drain pump empty the water, then switch the m/c off.
set the selector switch to one of the black dots on the dial, which is stop/reset.
Then switch washer back on, if the dial still keeps going round and round, then you are going to have to call an engineer, as you have what is called an Anomaly (fault).
Plz leave feedback for this solution.
your module has blown and im afraid this fault is not worth fixing due to the price of the board you may b able 2 get a second hand 1 but make sure it is a good 1 with a small g/tee rough price £50 good luck the module is mounted at the back of the machine at the bottom on the left hand side 2 screws hold it in place
My machine clicked round, although I did not have the water overflow. I managed to unlock the pump filter, on the front of the machine under the lower panel. This was fiddly. I removed a coin. The machine worked again, but two cycles later starting clicking round the timer.
I called an engineer - it worked when he was here, he checked the element and pump and said it was OK. When he had gone, it clicked round the timer again! He came again, and once again it worked perfectly when he was here.
Eventually I checked the pump filter again, and removed another two coins. At the moment - it is working!
