Question about Computers & Internet
My laptop got infected with spyware and I can't get to the internet. I ran a virus check and it said that it deleted the threats but my desktop doesn't come up. It keeps flashing these messages to resore my desktop and that my computer is infected with spyware...when I click on the link to fix it,nothing happens.... ANy suggestion?? Thanks
Boot you computer into Safe Mode. Reboot and hit F2, F8 or F12 (Depends on the computer) but it will say on the screen. Boot to Same Mode and run the virus checker from there. That should find and delete the virus. To restore the desktop you need to right click on the desk top and choose properties, and restore it manually. The automatic settings never work for me either.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
