Check the capacity...it depends on the size of the songs you downloaded...you can check the capacity of your mp3 player by pressing right click and check the properties of your mp3 player

How do i get ride of my music already downloaded from rashpody?

Use Windows Media Player 11 to delete those songs off of there - the Rhapsody downloads won't work after the 30-day trial has expired anyways:
To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

When playing my mp3 the songs that i have downloaded off my pc from a paid site, across the screen of the sansa says synchronize to continue your music subsription. the songs will not play please help me

Even though you should be able to resynchronize the files through Rhapsody in order to update the licenses on the music files, in my experience with this player, you have to go through a long, painful process:
1) Open Rhapsody
2) Connect your mp3 player to the computer
3) Delete the songs off the player itself using Windows Media Player - but make sure you still have a copy of these songs on your computer
4) Reload the Rhapsody songs

If your subscription to rhapsody expires, you will no longer be able to use the songs unless you buy them from the Rhapsody Mp3 Store.

Not playing songs/ transferring to MP3 player on Rhapsody.

You probably have to redownload the songs again. Forget about the pictures, this player is pretty buggy, it's not worth it.

I can't get my music to play.

Don't worry about it, simply go plug in your mp3 player to the computer and sign in to Rhapsody. Go to your play list and the songs should be there. Unplug your MP3 player and it should work. You have to do this because the warrant or license on your songs is up and you have to plug in your mp3 player to renew that license to keep listening to it. Hope this helps! It worked for me!

MP3 formating

Here's what you want to do. Use Windows Media Player to re-Rip the CD's in Mp3 format. Go to Windows Media Player 11 --> Rip --> Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3 (you can get to Rip options by moving the mouse over the Rip tab, and a small black arrow will appear - click on the arrow).

Once the songs are in true mp3 format, you can then use the Sync tab in Windows Media Player to transfer the songs.

Unfortunately, many of the newer Philips players do not recognize DRM-encryption, which is why the songs would have worked in one player and not this one.

Or:

You have to get Rhapsody's Mp3 only service - I repeat, MP3 ONLY. No other level of Rhapsody service will work with the newer Philips' GoGear's - which is funny, b/c Philips co-branded with Rhapsody on the newer players. Rhapsody is not your only choice, but you must ensure that the files you are downloading are in Mp3 format.

Use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs downloaded from Limewire to your Sansa. The first time you open Windows Media Player, it will search the "My Music" folder for songs - this may take a few minutes. Mkae sure you have Windows Media Player 10 or 11. You can either move or copy the Limewire songs to the folder called "My Music," or go into Windows Media Player and change Windows Media Player's configuration so that it can read the Limewire downloads folder.

Do not use Rhapsody. See if you can get the downloaded songs from Rhapsody to Widows Media Player or another downloading program. If you need any help update the problem.
Good Luck

Will eventually lose songs downloaded?

Okay, here's what i've encountered:  songs that I downloaded on rhapsody, without purchasing, only lasted about 7-10 days unless i reconnected.  once my trial period ended, i lost all the songs.  songs that i've purchased i've had no trouble (although if you load them to the sansa immediately after download, you may get the same message.  its best to wait at least 24 hours).  good luck

How do i keep,my songs on my mp3 player, without overwriting them?????

in order to help you illl need more information, like what programs are you using to download and convert them into your mp3 player? i use rhapsody, because when i used to use windows media player it would give me the same problems you seem to be having. P.s. my e250 screen is broken v.t it was the only thing holding my entire colection of kick ass songs, most of which are irreplaceable due to undownloadableness. i could kill myself
