Re: car radio code
Only the dealer or the authorized service rep can re-program the code. They do this by changing the EPROM or by burning in a new code from an interface with the factory security software. This depends on the model.
There is no secret or master key-code for most of these car radios.

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

On some radios, pressing Buttons 6 and 1 or 6 and 2 (together) maydisplay a Serial Number
If not , then removethe radio from the dashboard.

The radio will have to be removed from the car dashboard .Then please quote the MAKE + MODEL of your radio plus ALL the LETTERS and NUMBERS on any LABELS , BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING. Also quote the MAKE of CAR it is fitted into. Please note: Not all stereo codes can be calculated from the Serial Number
You can get the code online for a couple of quid just google it ,but you will need to remove the head unit from your car to get model and serial numbers of the unit the keys to remove the radio r quite cheap and r available at most car audio retailers or car spares shops,hope this helps.
