Samsung rear pro..

ya, sounds like a bad light engine, but first i would check all connectors to make sure they are seated correctly.
this could cost you alot of money!!!
you need to call 1800samsung
if you talk to them and sound upset they may just fix it or replace it.
good luck

Samsung 61" DLP 3 Blinking lights.

I have heard of some lamps only lasting a few months depending on where they are purchased. Sadly there is no way to test the lamp, short of substituting in a working set to try it. . and to test the ballast or DMD you would need detailed service info as DLPs are fairly easy to diagnose, however they have numerous things that must happen in proper sequence for the set to boot up. If you need any further info please let me know.

Samsung 61" DLP 3 Blinking lights.

all 3 lights blinking means lamp has a fault the service manual says replace the lamp. If you need the service training manual for that model let me know and I will post the link as the training manual has excellent trouble shooting breakdowns for that model DLP
