Lost my AIO software

I moved continents recently and lost my AIO Center software in the process. Once I arrived at my new home my wifes HD popped and now I have a perfectly good printer that won't do any of the other functions it is supposed to. I have found the printer drivers on the Dell website but I have not been able to locate the AIO Center software. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It should also be present on the Dell website itself

    Hey !!!!

I checked for you that on the Dell website you have a download of 30 MB which shows up under the drivers to download. I have provided the link for the same as well.
    Driver + Software

This 30 MB download includes the Dell Printer Software as well apart from the driver. It includes the following

    1 Dell Printer Solution Center
    2 Dell All-In-One Center
    3 Dell Picture Studio v2.0

So You may download the software from the link i have provided and install the same. You should have the driver as well as the software.

    Thanks
    Sammy

Hi,

Welcome to FixYa.

You can download the installation software from manufacturer's support website by clicking this link

On the page which opens, click the "Download" button to start the download process.

Kindly refer the detailed installation instructions given on the download page to install the printer.

For your reference, here are the installation instructions again:

Installation Instructions
  1. Verify that your computer meets the system requirements.
NOTE: WINDOWS XP 64-bit Operating System is not supported.
  2. Disconnect your all-in-one printer from your computer.
  3. Verify that you logged on to the computer using the administrator account.
  4. Close all programs.
  5. Download the software onto your computer.
  6. Double-click the *.exe file, then follow the on-screen instructions.
  7. When the installation is complete, connect your all-in-one printer to your computer.
  8. Select Start > Programs > Kodak > Kodak AiO Home Center.
Hope this helps. Thanks.

How do I clean the print head for a kodak printer

This is for Kodak AiO printer that has home center software installed

2.Click the Help (?) icon located at the upper-right corner of the Home Center window
3.From the Help toolbar, select Maintenance.
4.Click Printhead Cleaning, and wait for the printer to complete the cleaning.
If there is NO Kodak AiO home Center software installed
1. 5100 printer HOME CENTER should be use or open the printer access door wait for the printhead to move at the middle then close the printer access door forcing the printehead to eject ink on the printhead nozzle
2.5300 & 5500 printer press the MENU button > select CLEAN PRINTHEAD > then select BASIC/DEEP CLEAN

I recently got a new Dell computer and kept my Dell AIO 922 printer, but now the icon is lost, I cannot scan. However, I can print, but that is about it.

Do you still have the Dell AIO 922 Drivers and Utilities CD? If so, you can reinstall it on your new Dell PC with the Drivers and Utilities CD. Although you are able to see this printer in your list, the other components are missing such as the scan and fax options. If you have already reinstalled it using the CD, you should see the All In One Center under the Start Menu/ All Programs/Dell Printers/Dell AIO Printer 922 and the All In One Center should be showing there. You can right click on the All in One Center and select "send to" and choose desktop to create a shortcut or icon on your desktop. Your options for scanning and faxing should be showing here. Hope that helps!

Kodak AiO home Center will not open

My son has the same model and issue. I had him go to http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/downloads/dln_ekn034524.jhtml?pq-path=12667 and get the latest software and firmware update.

Make sure to use the dropdown to select your operating system. The page defaults to XP.

The software is a new version of the AIO home center.

The firmware installer updates the physical printer. Before you run this program be sure to read and understand the instructions.

If both ink cartridges have good levels of ink, and you keep getting the clean the print head issue after updating both the software and the firmware, then call Kodak support. 1-800-421-6699, 7 A.M. to midnight Eastern time, 7 days a week. They will ask you if you put in new cartridges and installed the updates for the firmware and the AiO centre software. Be patient. They will get a solution for you.

Home Center will not open...Can't scan

I needed to reload my AiO Home Center software and no one seemed to have the correct procedure. Maybe if you remove & reinstall yours it will resolve your problem. This procedure worked for me on my XP-machine:
1. got to Control Panel/Printers&Faxes and delete the printer
2. go to your Hardware/Device Manager/Universal Serial Bus Controllers, right-click on USB Composite Device and select Uninstall
3. go to Control Panel/Add/Remove Software and remove the EasyShare software
4. disconnect the cables from the Printer
5. download from Kodak.com the program "install_aio.exe"; run the program
(I selected only AiO+EasyShare+Software Updater to load)
6. followed the prompts after the sw installed to reconnect the Printer cables
7. rebooted

WORKED for ME !
