Sticky mouse Hi I have a sony vaio VGN-NR220E model laptop and sometimes my mouse is sticky. I learned how to disable the tapping so its not sensitive, but every so often, i will try to scroll with my fingers on the touchpad and the mouse will just go in the opposite direction (erratically) instead of where I am pointing/scrolling it. Help!

Try to uninstall your TP driver from the device manager and restart your system. Let the OS detect it and test. If same problem persist using the XP generic driver, then your problem is the touchpad itself. you need to bring it to a shop who can do te repair.

Hope this helps.
If it does please vote. Thanks!

Hi,

I am having major problems with my sony vaio laptop curser. It keeps jumping when am typing. Can you help?

1. Disable the touchpad tapping feature.
a. Click on start>Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Under Devices and Printers option, select the Mouse option.
b. Click on the Tapping tab, then, disable the tapping feature.
If the tapping tab is not available, then reinstall the touchpad drivers and disable the tapping feature.
You can reintsll the touchpad drivers either using the VAIO Care Software in the computer or from the support page of your notebook.
