problem is not turbo c++ but your windowswindows only upto xp support bgi graphics vista and 7 doesn't.You can compile the program on any xp machine or try Linux.orTry using the visual studios to compile on windows.You can easily search on how to compile c/c++ in visual studios
I had similar issues with an old version of Turbo Pascal. I used a program called DOSBox which emulates the older machines the packages were designed for. http://www.dosbox.com/ It worked very well including full screen.
turbo c will not open in full screen on windows 7 neither graphics will work so either u have to use dos box and mount turbo c on it or use some other compiler
64 Bit operating systems like Windows Xp64, Windows Vista64, and Window
7 will no longer run 16 bit applications and this includes Turbo C
2.01/Turbo C++ 3.0/3.1 or the programs they produce.
Turbo C 2.0 was first released in 1989, Turbo C++ 3.1 in 1991 making
these programs nearly two decades old. They are just too old to run on
modern PCs.
Upgrade To Modern Compiler
Note that Turbo C/C++ is very very very very old and produces 16 bit
programs which no long run on many modern computers. So the best advice
is to upgrade to a new compiler. There are many free compilers out there that you can use.
Borland C++ 5.5
-- Will compile Turbo C++ programs (including graphics.h) but produces
32bit code (slightly better than Turbo C) Only includes command line
tools.
DigitalMars
-- Its still old but at least it produces 32bit programs (better than
Turbo C). You might stumble across D++ which is a very powerful
language derivative of C++.
OpenWacom -- Again, nearly as old as Turbo C, but it produces more modern 32bit applications! (this project is still active too).
If you are just working with C there is:
Pelles
-- and excellent modern C compiler and IDE. Pelles also has the new TR1
libraries available so you can use regex and other new features. As
well as support for many older libraries.
LCC-Win32 -- Used as the basis for many of the research compilers.
Curly braces are used in C (Turbo and otherwise) to group statements. A group of statements inside a pair of curly braces is treated semantically as a single statement. For example, a for-loop controls one statement. If you want more than one statement within the loop, you use curly braces to group them together.
Use the command prompt. Maximize the window size. Change directory to c:. You will have a line that fits 75 characters and a window that occupies about 2/3 of the whole window. That's enough fore all reasonable problems. If you are not happy with what you get, you may try developping your C++ program under Linux.
HERE is the simple trick :To use Turbo C++ IDE in windows 7 or in Vista; For those who wants to learn C/C++ just uninstall your "Graphics driver " For that Computers->properties->device manager->Display Adapters->graphics driver version u have uninstall that...And after log off Run your "C:\\TC\\BIN\\TC.exe".it will open in full screen... for more visit www.hackersorigin.com or forum.hackersorigin.com
