I have a Danby portable air conditioner: DPAC7099. What is the garden hose for?

The drain hose is to drain the unit when in dehumidifier mode. You can get the manual on the link below just enter the # code then click on download manual. Page 10 of the manual.

Good Luck

I require the attachment that allows you to connect my dehumidifier to a hose, so that we can go away for a little while and not have to worry about emptying the resevoir. The appliance may well have come...

All I wanted was to purchase the attachment for my dehumidifier.  I did not want to sign up for a plan.  Please answer the question.  Surely Danby sells this part, just tell me where to find it.

Error code E 04 was on screen for our Danby Silhouette 12000 BTU Air Conditioner Model DPAC120061 and now it won't run properly

most error codes are to do with the main board or a switch board and ussually need to be replaced. If you have the manual for it they normally have the error codes and there meaning in them. If not in the manual you should ring your nearest repairer and give them the make model and error cdes and they can ussually tell you what it is from.

I have a Simplicity dehumidifier/humidifier model SHCC6026 by Danby, bought new, used 2 months last summer as a dehumidifier, was emptied and dryed before storing for the winter. On start up this summer,...

I contacted the Danby Co. and found out the unit was still under warranty. They gave me the name of a local repair shop who replaced the float sensor "free of charge".
Thank you for your time and interest. If I have another problem later I will be in touch with you.
