Could be that his console reads scratched disks better than yours, or your lens reader is slowly dying. Might be time to replace the Ps2.

After pressing the red sync button on the console for about 10-15 seconds, and syncronizing the remote, the remote stars to work, but when I start a game the remote is no longer working. Then when I...

There are two ways to sync the Wii remote with the Wii console after pressing the red sync button like you did:

1) Press the "1" and "2" buttons on the Wii remote until the lights begin to flash. This method provides a temporary connection to the Wii.
2) Open the battery cover on the Wii remote and press the red button next to the batteries. This creates a permanent connection or "pair" between the Wii remote and the Wii console.
Based on your description, it sounds like you are using method #1. In order to power on the Wii when the Wii's red light is on (meaning the machine is turned off) and start playing games like you want, method #2 must be used.
Imagine method #1 as "guest mode". If a friend comes over with their Wii remote and wants to play a game, you would open up the game first, use method #1, and your friend would temporarily be connected to the Wii. Using method #1 is like "owner mode" that lets the Wii remote turn the console on and off and always stay connected to it.
Hope this helps!

im not 100% percent sure so dont really take it as a solution.

ARs are very glitchy and if use alot may break frquelently. my friends use em and 1 burnt a hole in its self. another made his top screen stay white unless its held a certain way.
Mine is 4 years old and has no problem so cant really tell ya mabey try a friends Ar and see if that works

My xbox 360 plays burned games. so does my friends.but for some reason mine wont play all games that work on his it just says open drive.not even unreadably .his is a benq mine is a old samsung

samsungs used to be the best drives but i do like the benq, it sounds like you need your laser either adjusting or replacing. from what you have described i would say you could get away with adjusting the pots. they are little scres on the laser itself that regulate the power. most lasers are set to say 3.4-4.2 but i would say an optimum would be 2.9-3.0. if you adjust the pots to that i think all the games would then work.
i realise a lot of people might not understand what im saying so i do have a guide that is easy to follow. just email me if you need any more advice.

IM CONFUSED!

Mine does that sometimes.I got it on Ebay for just a few dollars. I think it does that when there isn't a good connection between the game/gameshark/N64. I always use the "hot breath" method - breathe on the slots of both the gameshark and game, as if you were trying to warm up your hands in wintertime, or fog up a mirror. It might take a couple of tries, but it usually works.
If that fails, try cleaning the slots of the gameshark and game with a Q-tip - there can be a lot of corrosion on the copper connections - but don't use any kind of cleaning agent, just rub at it. The Q-tip will probably end up being gray or black. Then try it again.
Good luck!
