Before you print, can you do a Print Preview from the File menu?

When you choose print preview, there should be a button or menu choice that says Page Setup. In Word for Windows, it's the 4th button from the left and it looks like a little gear.

Choose Page Setup. You should see a button that has chosen Portrait. Click the button that changes it to Landscape. Then hit okay. Good luck

How do i rotate my screen

I am not sure where the confusion is on adjusting portrait/landscape mode. If you look at the bottom of the screen, you will see the following icons: an open book, a curved arrow inside a circle, a circle with three lines in it, the battery icon, and the clock.
To change the orientation:
1) press the icon that is the circle with three lines in it.
2)press "Reader Settings"
3) press "Orientation"
4) select "Auto-rotate", "Portrait", or "Landscape."

Print result sideways

It sounds like your printer is set to print landscape, instead of portrait mode. Next time you want to print, click on file(top left of screen), then print (don't just click on the little printer icon). This will open a new printer window where you can choose different setting. The option to change from landscape to portrait will be listed somewhere in that window. Once you have selected that feature and print it will stay that way unless you change it. You will have to check this setting in each computer program you use.

Go into the print driver and the machine settings and make sure the paper size and direction are all in agreement with each out and the paper in the tray itself. If screen icons do not agree with the size and direction of the paper in the tray you will have a lot of weird problems.

Can't get it to print landscape in microsoft word

If the printer is set up to over-ride program settings then your Word settings for a landscape print will be ignored. To fix this, go to your Printer Settings (accessible from Word's Print window) and look for a paper settings option that will allow the printer to either use the print settings from Word, or set the printer to always print in landscape. If you go with the second option just remember that next time you want to print portrait pages you'll have to revert this setting from landscape to portrait.

Need to fix rotating screen back to horizontal!

I think you are referring to the picture on the laptop screen has rotated away from landscape or upside down. If this is the case, right click on the desktop away from icons and scroll down to "Nvidia or ATI control Panel", when this window opens look to the left and you will see a refrence to "Screen Orientation", click the drop down menu and select "Landscape". If you do not have the "control Panel" option, go to the bottom and choose "Properties", then display settings, then advanced settings, look for screen orientation, and choose landscape.

Its upside down! novo laptop

If you are referring to the screen, right click on an open area of the screen away from the icons and scroll down and select "personalize", go to "display settings", look in the left pane and look for the text that references "Screen orientation", open this and choose "landscape". click apply and ok.

If you have an older operating system that dies not have "personalize", then choose "properties" and then display settings, then advanced settings, choose "landscape" for screen orientation.

My HP PSC 1200 printer has started printing all landscape documents as portraits and visa versa. Reinstalling has not helped.

hi

goto the control panel-->printers and faxes and do a right click on the printer icon.now goto printing preferences and change the settings as per your need
there is also a check box for showing the preview before printing, check that ,now everytime you want to print something it will show you a preview in advance for how the print out's gonna look like
you can change the settings as portrait or landscape by going to printing preferences.
hope this helps

Will not print landscape.

Set your file up as a landscape, set your printer as portrait. Setup you width and height to be a half inch larger in each direction (unless you are doing borderless) and try with preview (so you dont waste time, ink & paper) see if this helps
