Question about Samsung SCH-i730 Pocket PC

2 Answers

My samsung i730 is not recognizing my sd card. I downloaded a song to see if I could play it and the entire card is not showing up under Explorer, even after a reboot. I see that the card works on my PC, so I know it's okay.

I had that problem as well, turned out the phone didn't like nothing over a 2 gig card.

My phone show memory full, but i hae nothing on my SD card how do i move information from my phone memory to my SD card.

I had a similar issue. You need to go to the settings menu and check to see if your phone is recognized the chip. If no, power off your phone, take out the chip and reinstall it. If your phone is reading your chip, there are many apps you cc an download in google play. If your chip is not recognized, check it in a another phone.

I own the r451c which has an mp3 player, but when i insert the micro sd and go to music player, i get a prompt that says no mp3, what am doing wrong

You have to load mp3s on the micro SD card via the computer. To do it properly, you must place the mp3s in the folder that says My_Music which is located in the micro SD card. That folder is created once the micro SD card is first inserted into the phone.
I hope that helps.

Recently bought a micro sd card for my black jack and when I insert it and open storage card folder on phone it says not found

ok first the micro sd card cannot exceed 4gb or the phone will not recognize it, if that is not the problem then you will have to format the card on your pc go to computer and right click on the card and select format then place back in phone. hope this information was helpful:)

Recocnizing micro sd card

The original Blackjack will not recognize anything larger than 2gb. Sorry, but you just wasted buying those 4 gb. cards. I found this out the hard way too when I bought my daughter a 4gb card for her Blackjack. I have a BJ2 which will recognize the 4gb cards.

Download to BlackJack II

What format are the itunes songs in? The Blackjack II will read WMA, MP3, and a few others but not itunes format.

The easiest way to get music on the phone is by putting all of the songs onto a memory card (Micro SD) and then put the memory card into the phone.

Saving music on my micro sd..

The only way the music can be played on a cell phone is if it is in mp3 format. you also have to list the songs individually (they cannot be separated into folders). to listen to the music you should have some sort of music player on the phone that will play the songs.
