If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try
another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem
is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read
error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide,
that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It
also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a
kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide
Check that the Disk Laser does not have debris on it or has not been knocked loose. If you have looked at those options. Then you may have to send your GameCube to Nintendo so that they can repair it for you. If it's under warranty it's free other wise Nintendo will charge you 50.00 to fix it . Another option for you may be to try and find an used console online. I have seen them for about 40-100 bucks. I hope this helps.
Now you have to open and Clean your playstation2 Laser Lens... But be carrefull because it´s very Sensible...Try to Clean it and remove all the dust inside....
Good Luck!!! whatever call me...
if its old, its probably that the carbons of the rotator arent working well, so the best thing you could do is change the entire thing, replacing it is more dificult and expensive.. you could also try cleaning the lens.. but my best bet its that it isnt rotating fast enough to read the info on the disks
Well the problem you are having there is that the dvd player does not like the disc because it has not been finilised before so you have finilise it first and then it will work perfectly well that is what i do all the time.
