Do your messages actually get through or are they rejected? And is this with Outlook? It appears likely there may be a piece of malware involved...

If you need assistance, please let me know some more of the details. Thanks for rating FixYa!

How do I send email to Undisclosed Recipients using Outlook?

Did you want to reach those included in a mass mailing you were a part of, you can hit reply all - but you need to be very very careful about that because that can be construed as junk mail and blocked by your provider. IF you do, use the BCC option.

Tip

How to Recall a message in Outlook 2007

Did you ever send a message to the unintended recipients? And wondered how you could take the message back. This tip will help "Recall" a message. If you are using Outlook (specifically 2007) this will guide you how to take a message back from unintended recipients.

Here are the good things about this feature:

* You can recall the message that was sent to unintended recipients.
* You can recall the message that you were not yet suppose to send. Probably you are not yet done writing or you accidentally hit the send button.
* You also have an option to recall the message that was sent and replace it with a different message.

This is a down side with this feature. If your message was already opened or read by the recipient, you will not be able to recall the message.

Now here is how you do the "Recall" in Outlook 2007:

1. Go to your "Sent Items" and open the message that you can to recall.
2. On the menu bar click "Other Actions" and click on "Recall this Message".
3. A small window will pop-up and you will have different options on how you will recall the messages. Here are the options:

  • Delete unread copies of this message.
  • Delete unread copies and replaced with a new message.
  • Tell me if recall succeeds or fails for each recipient.
Delete unread copies of this message - Will only recall the message and delete it.

Delete unread copies and replaced with a new message - This will recall the message and will give you an option to put in new reply. This is like make a new reply that will replace the original message that is being recalled.

Tell me if recall succeeds or fails for each recipient - I recommend that you leave this setting checked to make sure that you will receive a confirmation if the recall succeeded/failed for each recipients.

I would like to emphasize that the recall will only succeed if the message was not yet read or opened by the recipient/s. I hope this will help you guys.

Hallmark Card Studio E-mailed Cards Not Reaching Recipients

How do you know it was not delivered - i.e., did the sender receive a return email notice that it was undeliverable or did the recipient receive anything at all? If it was sent and just disappeared, there may have been a problem with the email address. If an "undeliverable" notice was returned to the sender, there may have been a problem with the recipient's server, email program or virus software.

Outlook has several settings which prevent certain types of emails from being delivered or received. It attempts to block anything that looks like spam. For example, emails with too many attachments, certain types of extensions, large picture files, emails being sent out to too many people at a time, etc. Some of these setting can be changed, but some cannot. You don't say which version of Outlook you are using. If it has not worked when you are sending the card directly from the Hallmark program using Outlook as your default email program, you might try opening Outlook and creating an email from there and attaching the card.

The source of the problem could also be the virus software of the sender or the receiver.

This assumes that SOME recipients are getting the messages. If so, go your address book and find the addresses for the failed recipients. Then edit or delete and reenter them when you are sure you have the correct information

Extra lines in email - Outlook 2007

Yes, if you send an HTML format message to someone, and they are viewing emails in plain text, their Outlook may be adding extra lines. Check your Tools -> Options -> On the Preferences tab there should be an Email Options button. In Email Options there should be an option to Remove extra line breaks in plain text messages. It won't affect you when composing an email, but your recipients should make sure they have that checked if they are also using Outlook and reading email in Plain Text.

When you are composing emails you can hold the Shift key and press Enter to override the auto-double-space and Outlook will only do a single space.

Microsoft outlook express

This sounds like a virus. there are no settings that allow messages to double-up. Run an Anti-Virus that will check your E-mail aswell as the rest of your software. Hope this helps.
