Question about Cameras

1 Answer

I have a Casio Exilim EX-S880 and I would like to know how to use the over exposure feature. So it keeps the lens open for like 3 or 4 seconds.

Press the BS button for "Best Shot."  Then select the "Night Scene."  This will put the ISO at 80 and the shutter will stay open for about 4 seconds.  Use a tripod or balance the camera on a steady object.  In this situation, the timer function is great so you don't giggle the camera when you hit the button.

Check your "exposure compensation" setting. It should be at "0". You can set it lower if your pics are still overexposed and see if you can find a setting you like.

Cannot download images to my apple mac

1) plug in the cable from the camera to the Mac USB port
2) Switch on the camera
3) iPhoto should open automatically. If it does not, go to Applications/iPhoto and double click this.
4) You can choose Import in iPhoto and this will copy them into the iPhoto library.

Casio Exilim EX-S880 I put my camera on the charging dock and the orange light comes on. After about 15 seconds it starts flashing. I can't turn my camera on at all. The only way I do is to view them on...

if you try pushing the battery in further it might turn on, if that doesn't work just get a new battery, but make sure to take it out when you aren't using it or this will happen again.

Casio Exilim EX-S880 won't turn on, lens clicks

Do you have a mem card installed? If so what size? Make sure it is the right size for your camera. Also make sure the battery is fully charged. The lens clicking twice makes me believe that there was some kind of damage done to the lens like maybe accident powering on when it wasn't supposed to like in a pocket or something. You may have to send it in. Expecially if it says "lens error".

Casio Exilim Ex-S880

I have had this issue on several Casio camera the lens comes out fine and then goes right back in some times it just gives you two beeps and nothing else. the problem is with the lens its focus motor is out of ajustment. According to Casio this is not covered under any type of warrenty coverage and that ****.but hehe sometimes you can take it back to places like bustbuy and if you have your receipt they will sometime swap it out. But lets say they don't. well you sometime can get a replacement lens for it off ebay for pretty cheap. This is only if you are sure that you can fix the camera. If you choose to have it fixed make sure you shop around there is a huge diffrence between shop to shop.
