The unit should drive 400 Watts RMS into a 4 ohm load per side.

The amount of sound power you get will VASTLY depend on speaker efficiency. You would likely use at least 15 inch speakers with the unit.

I have a PMP 3000 and 2 B212XL. I want to know how many more B212's or other speakers I can connect to the PMP3000. The current setup lacks power at the moment.

Absolute maximum is two of these per side. The speakers are 8 ohm and two on each of the outputs would be 4 ohms which is the minimum allowed for the amplifier. You will get about 400 Watts RMS per side doing this. Please note that the stated 1200 watts for the amp is the PEAK (fakey) values put forth in all the ads we get now. With 4 total B212XL's you should be able to fill an indoor venue of about 10000 square feet with sound at the OSHA limit.

We are trying to purchase a pmp mixer for our church choir. What's the difference between the pmp 3000 and the pmp 4000? Thanks!

The answer is "Not Much"... they upped the rating for power out and added 1000 to the model number... I don't know of any circuitry difference between them... it would probably be minor. Functionality is the same.

My pmp froze, tried to reset it but now it wouldn't power up

Your PMP what? Is this a Behringer?... and if so what model?... If it won't power up, for goodness sakes do NOT replace a blown fuse as additional damage usually results. Get it serviced... if under warranty, then exercise the warranty. If it is a BEhringer, then also read my tip on Fixya tips regarding PMP mixers and a hazard of using 1/4 inch plug speaker cables or adapters.

[ replaced the speaker b0ard but the speak 0n c0nnect0rs d0 n0t work ! can i hook up another way to get out put to the speakers

What is a "speaker board"??? Nothing like that listed in the parts list.
Likely the power amps are dead... the common cause of the problem.

I have a pmp 3000 and a pmp 6000. what is the best wast to run out of the boards to the speakers? and is it better to run in mono?

No preference, just use mode that fits your venue. As far as system safety I would run in Stereo A/B rather than bridged mode.

Now please read my tip about PMP units on Fixya regarding a hazard if you convert the Speakon outputs at some point to 1/4 inch plugs. If you do this, please note that the SLEEVE, not the tip on channel A is HOT to ground and shorting this to ground will often fry channel A. Channel "B" the tip is the hot speaker lead. Thsi is done by Behringer to facilitate switching to bridged mode.

I have a behringer PMP 3000 mixer, on e of the channel is gone, it is not under warranty, can you tell me who can repair it ? what causes the channel to blow.

Often the A channel power output blows. CEASE using the unit immediately until repaired as continued use can have additional damage to power supply.

Any problem with speakers can blow the channel as there is real weak insulation on a multi-layer circuit board in the rear most amp (channel A). It burns and takes out three transistors on the HCA2400 module inside.

ALSO read my tip on here regarding a hazard of Behringer PMP units due to the channel A connection when using Speakon to 1/4 inch plugs or adapters having the BARREL being the hot lead instead of the TIP of the 1/4 inch plug. Short that barrel to ANY ground and goodbye channel A.

I want to connect two passive b212 and 6 active b215 , i will use two active b215 for monitors ..... i am using a PMP 3000 Please advice, also where can i get a detailed numbered illustrations sheet for...

The passive speakers connect to the main outputs using Speakon connectors on the back.

You will use Balanced connections (TRS) to the main L and R connections on top to the active speakers. Daisy chain 3 active on each of the L and R top connectors.

You can download a user manual if you don't have one.

http://www.behringer.com/EN/downloads/pdf/PMP1000_P0566_M_EN.pdf

ALSO PLEASE read my tip regarding a hazard when using Speakon to 1/4 inch speaker cables on channel "A" in the FIXYA tips for PMP mixers. The barrel of the channel A 1/4 inch is the HOT side of the signal to the speaker instead of the tip.

I have a behringer pmp 3000. In the middle of the show, one of our inputs started making a loud static sound. stopped and turned it off then on. Checked the cable and not that, it still looked like it...

Take this in for WARRANTY repair immediately !!!! This is NOT DIY.

Always power any interconnected equipment from the same receptacle or power distribution box.

Fuse and fuse holder needed for Behringer 3000 pmp mixer

Try this Behringer support:

BEHRINGER USA, Inc.
18912 North Creek Parkway, Suite 200
Bothell, WA 98011
Tel.: +1 425 672 0816
Fax: +1 425 673 7647

I just repaired a PMP3000.

A bit of warning on these. Do not let a speaker leads get pulled while powered. They can arc out the power amp causing extensive damage.

If the fuse ever blows do NOT replace the fuse as much more damage will result. Service the unit before using.
