Question about Whirlwind FH-778 Air Conditioner
Coleman central unit
You need to use a meter to ensure that you are getting control voltage from the xfrmr. Also check it at the coil side of the contactor if you feel comfortable doing this but be careful of the line voltage side. If you are getting power on the coil side of the contactor usually a 24v signal from the tstat from the area labeled y and the contactor is not pulling in most likely you will need to replace the contactor. If the contactor is pulling in verify the amp draw on the compressor with the tag.
