Dell 720 -- paper is pulled to the right (where feed roller is located) and crumples

Same problem. I have a canon PIXMA MP180. The paper just seems to crumble onthe left side and gets stuck there. pls help.

Paper not feeding properly. It catches on the left side and crumples. It does not even go far enough to engage with the rollers. it seems (on visual inspection) that the internal parts are undamaged.
