All of a sudden, for no apparent reason, I can no longer send or recieve text messages on my Moto Q (had it since Christmas). When I try to open one, I get a blank screen. When I try to send one I get the message,
"a problem has occurred with gwes.exe."
Please help before I throw the damn thing at the wall. Thanks . . .

for sending text messages :
1. call to your network operator customer care 2. request the message center number... 3.note it down 4. go to message settings>message center number 5. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ... Good luck
Hey, I just bought the same phone from ebay, and it was preflashed for cricket too. My phone had the same exact problem. I called cricket technical support at 1-800-274-2538 and they refreshed my flashing while i was on the phone with them. As soon as I got off the phone with them my phone worked perfectly. I hope this helps! - Alyssa
This is almost certainly a problem with your phone not having the correct Message Centre settings (have you ever used this phone with a different carrier?).
The Message Centre number can be found in Messaging/Settings/Text Message/Text Message Centre. You will probably need to check with your Service Provider to get the correct number, although you may find it on their website.
That all depends on your service provider. Most Q's cannot send picture messages but you can send email with attachments. So if your service provider doesnt offer picture messages with the q then all you can do is email them to others.
