Question about Garmin iQue 3600 GPS Receiver
This unit had been working very good for many years until I put the new software upgrade . Release 6, as of Aug 09, 2007 now everything works good but when flip the antenna for finding satellites like used to do it never find anything just it is trying to find them without any result and after many minutes says that I am indoor and if I want try again or cancel it, but I am outside what happen???
IQue 3600 - mine had the same trouble, but a new external antenna solved the problem. I'm guessing that the "Flip-up Antenna" goes bad after awhile. There are many who use the external antenna. Check Ebay.. buy a new one, not used. Best Wishes, Mark.

Well unfortunately, sounds like it's replacement time.... same problem I had with mine. Even with an external antenna...no or little signal. Garmin charges $200 canadian for an exchange unit.
So much for costumer support.
