you cant, the tv will always come on the tv channel. you can turn the item off that is plugged into the hdmi port then back on and it will take over the tv channel and switch to hdmi. so on a night turn off the item plugged into the hdmi port and on a morning after your tv has turned on then turn on the hdmi item and the tv will switch over itself
Try unplugging from outlet for fifteen seconds. Press the power button for a few seconds "before" plugging back in. Now plug back into the wall outlet and try turning it on to see if this reset the TV's settings.
Try to I unpluged the power, push volume and channel down, pluged power again
While it's flashing unplug your TV from the main power source for 15 seconds,Then press Valume Up and Channel Up, while holding it plug the TV back in, you should see the TV Turn on. How to Reset Your Sharp LCD TV TV Repair
tried to unplug the tv and don't use for a while to reset the power supply. then re plugged it again and power it on again let see if it works. if still won't power on then the power indicator is blinking you must need to check the power supply board which you need to remove the back cover.
Is anything else working that is plugged into the power strip? There is usually a breaker on the power strip (little button on the side) that may have been tripped. The other thing to check is try powering TV on using the TV power button and not the remote control.
Check the power at the plug point. Check the plug of the TV. If there is no life, then you will need to open the TV panel and check for a blown fuse, a circuit break while transporting, a loose connector within the set or a possible damaged SMPS>
check this link below for some tips on the power supply:
Try connecting the TV directly to a different wall outlet and check. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue persists, then the TV requires service.
I would check the power board for any capacitors with domed tops and replace them. this would be the first thing to check. Also try plugging tv into another receptical. even thou other items are plugged into the same plug strip i have had plug strips with only one bad receptical. get what ai mean? We need to narrow it down. But bad capacitors are a common problem on multiple brands. Hope this helps. If not reply with the model number.
