Question about Zoom X6 (5590) DSL Modem (55900003)
I have a zoom x6 modem from shawnee link internet...my connection has always ran at 1500 kbps...but after updating i only get 800 kbps...apparently it is a built in default....how can i chnage it?
Try to lower down the MTU settings of your router. If that does not work, you can try to isolate the concern by using another modem and checking if the same problem happens. if it does, then it is a problem with your ISP but if not then it is on the modem. You can try reset and reconfigure or firmware upgrade.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
