Should be in the documentation that came with the game. Probably like a product ID.

When I went to down load my 2 games legends of the hunted and deceit it ask me for a key code?

Most all games come with a key code for proof of purchase. If you do not have a number then you will not be able to install it.

What does a biohd-2 message mean?

That error code means that your hard disk has failed. You can use the hard disk diagnostic test in BIOS for further confirmation. If either short or long test does not pass or causes your PC to reboot, the hard disk must be replaced
Unfortunately the normal solution for this is:
Locate your Recovery disc set or usb recovery media. I hope you took the time to make it.( your HP software asked you to do this)
Purchase a new SATA2 hard disk of equal (500 GB) or greater size. Remove the failed disk and install the new one.
Follow the instructions here and restore your original operating system to the new hard disk.

It sound like you have a recovery disk not an install disk. The recovery disk you have just lets you repair windows only. If you insert the disk after windows starts and it runs you can then try to back up what you want and delete what you don't want, then run a windows repair. Its the only option, My other suggestion is to purchase Windows 7 and do a clean install.

The problem is most likely that you do not have a DVD reader installed in your PC. If you look on the front of you cd-rom it will say DVD if it can read DVD's. Most stores will not give you a refund for software that has already been opened. It is fairly easy and inexpensive to install a DVD reader in your PC, probably in the range of $30.00 to $60.00 depending on the brand you purchase. I would go ahead and purchase and install the DVD reader since more and more games and other software is now being put on DVD's.

I dont know sims 2 double deluxe code

Usually, if the game is preinstalled or meaning already installed in your computer when you bought it, all you have to do is to go to your computer's recovery menu and then reinstall the game. But if you have had purchased a retail version of it, you should see it on the cd case. Last option, try to contact where you bought the game and ask for the code.

You can't downgrade from vista to xp without formatting your hard drive. Make sure that the drivers of your computer is compatible with xp before you format your hard drive.

845 GL video drivers

Sounds like you need to upgrade your drivers. The only ones that I found are: http://www.mercury-pc.com/product-detail.php?productid=51#

They seem to be a little dated and you may want to think about upgrading your board all together.

What games are you trying to play?

I want a laptop computer

Ok...that's a good decision...Now the problem becomes...what do you want this laptop for....this will dictate what you purchase..

If you are into gaming, games, music, things like that...then I would recommend an AMD processor with dual core....at least 1mg of ram with a 100-200 Gig hard drive.
If you are more into applications, site development, Office products, computer programming, then I recommend an Intel Processor...4 with at least 1 gig of ram and 100-200 Gig harddrive.
Nvidia card or Radeon (which i prefer Radeon) are best for any computer.
Creative Sound Blaster or Real Tek sound card...
Make sure you purchase the warranty, as well as ask for an Operating system disk when you purchase the system.
If you don't ask...you won't get one..and If you don't know how to burn a system disk from your harddrive to a cd....and something happens (like a virus)...then you won't be able to do a recovery if that part of the partition gets corrupt.
Also, make sure you purchase all your power chords, batteries, webcam (if it's not already built in the laptop) as well as laptop case...

Good luck and happy shopping
