Error message E 10. Can not clear - master reset will not work, platen arms both closed & secure, cash drawer closed - Help!

Hi.
E10 means drawer not closed within the given time (in programming). if you have the drawer closed already, make sure all three wires are connected between the drawer and the register (one of them senses the drawer state). Apart from that, you might have a programming, or memory issue. Has anyone played with the programming?

Why isn't it working?


It may have lost the program. Has the battery been replaced on time? You need the dealer codes to program it. One of the users has the dealer codes in this manual:

I would try to input an amount to see if it clears, if you still have manual that came with it there is a number that you can call for help

Hey I have a ER-5200M electronic cash register I have paper rolls full in my machine and it's coming up with warning J paper end ? Help please


after replacing the journal or receipt paper on the 5200 you must shut the top platen firmly and then press clear...sometimes it doesn't click all the way and you have to do it twice to get it to seat correctly. clear will then take away the message from the display
