SOURCE: 3 wire oven with 2 wire source

Your new oven utilizes 220 volts, but it also has some 110 volt features that need a neutral to work properly. Your old oven was wired without the neutral, probably when the house was built. There are 2 answers to your question. #1, no you should have an isolated neutral or common (same thing) wire, so it should have one. #2, if you connect the white on the new oven to the ground wire it will work. The neutral wires are all connected to the grounds at the breaker panel. Look at it if you don't believe me. The ground is there as a safety to you. if you connect the neutral (the white wire on the new oven to ground) you will be eliminating the safety feature on that appliance. So, I do not recommend you connect the white wire on your new oven to the ground wire out of the wall. But if you do it will work, you will just not have any back up protection if there ever is a problem with the electrical on that appliance. I hope this wasn't too confusing, the answer is you will need to wire the oven properly by adding another wire if you want to be completely safe and within electrical codes.

Hi there i keep getting an F3 error message

that's a bad oven sensor,if you have a meter you can read it out it should read around 1080 ohms.you have a clock assy. or computer board same thing instead of an oven thermostat.unplug the stove pull it out from the wall, open the oven door and you'll see the sensor screwed onto the top back inside wall of the oven.remove the two screws,go in the back remove panel and you'll see the sensor wires usually on the back right side, you can unplug it and then pull it out from inside the oven, then slide the wires through the back wall, put in the screws go in the back and reconnect the wires.next time send the brand name and model number so whoever helps you can give you part number.go here put the model number in and you can look up your sensor

Wall oven, the front of the door has fallen off - glued on by the looks. So now instead of handle and window I now have one glass panel. I need to re glue it I presume. What glue would I use.

I am afraid that yours is a common problem. The front glass normally has some small brackets glued to the inside face, which then locate into the door frame.
This is the correct Heat Resistant Adhesive

The handle has fallen off my stainless steel kitchenaid superba oven and screws go from inside edge toward front. Can't tell how to access without removing frame and that's another question!

Yes the door has to be disassembled to repair the handle. In some cases you can just loosen the sides and top and work with it on your lap without removing from the unit but it takes patience and an extra set of hands is nice to have around. Any visible screws have to come out first. Eric

Loose Oven door handle

Hi,
You may have to get some loctite brand paste in a tube for applying to the threads of the bolts that hold it on.
This will prevent the screws from loosening.
Another way would be to get some spring washers or star washers at your local hardware store such as menards.
