two (2) main cause in your problem should be the phone memory of your Phone are low or your phone are infected with so called Virus.
So i strongly adviced that reformat your Unit or go to a technician specialist to reformat your unit using their software.

Do not enter in any codes if the phone asks for a "PUK" or "SIM lock" code. Contact your cellular provider immediately and request the code because if you enter in an incorrect code, your SIM card will permanently deactivate itself.

this is a common problem with all of the lg phones it seems. i contacted verizon about it and they gave me a new phone, worked for 2 weeks then started shutting off again. the only thing to do about this is to complain until they give you a choice of a different model or just dont buy lg next time...
