You may need to configure your ports. How?
1 Windows Start menu
2 Select Devices and Printers
3 Select your printer (double click)
4 Select printer actions (double click)
5 In the printers dialogue box select Printer - Properties
6 Click on the ports tab
7 Select your printer where it is listed and click "configure port"
8 Fill in the port name and printer name either with your printer's sharename, or the IP address (you can find the IP address from your router interface)
9 Very important. The share name will always find your printer whichever IP address is assigned to it by your router. Assuming you are are using DCHP this will change everytime you turn your printer or router off and an. If you use an IP address you should reserve that IP address for your printer in the router interface.
Open Printers folder from Control panel.
Open the priter you are printing to and see if there are any documents on queue. Delete all of them (Printer/Cancel all documents). Then close the printer's windows and look the status of the printer. If it is "Offline", right click it and choose "Use Printer Online". If the status is "Paused", right click it and choose "Resume printing".
Try to re-seat the cartridges in the printer. Open the printer
cover > remove the cartridges > close the printer cover > re-brick you
printer by pulling out the power supply - black box behind the printer where
the power cord is plugged in, and re-plug after 10 seconds. When the printer
turns on, reinsert the cartridges and close the cover. Try to print a document
again to verify that the problem is fixed.
If that doesn't help, the problem could be due to a clogged print
cartridge nozzle. Please follow the steps below to fix print quality issues
with your model:
From the Maintenance tab, select Clean to fix horizontal streaks.
Your printer will then print a page forcing ink through to clean the print
cartridge nozzles.
After printing the test page, try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
