You should have immediately removed the battery and let it dry in a bag of rice (uncooked!) for a few days before turning it on.
Try drying it completely and take it to claim for warranty (if there is left). Its highly unlikely though, because there is a sticker inside to detect water damage but worth a try.
The next option would be to get it repaired. If the cost is nearer to a new phone, better buy a new one. But the data on phone memory will be lost in this case.
