Question about Hyundai Televison & Video
All you need to do is to open the DVD player, clean the lens with a cotton bud soaked with Some isopropanol alcohol, use this to clean the lens, but if otherwise, check the ribbon cable that is use to connect the laser lens to the circuit board , if this the ribbon cable is okay the lase lens will popup a red light indicating the lens is well connected, and if otherwise you have to replace the DVD DRIVE, the DVD DRIVE come with a whole of a mechanism and laser lens. This will solve the problem .........

Try another DVD. If problem persists and it does not work with any type of DVD, whether recordeable burnt DVDs or original pressed DVDs then your unit is bad - either dirty lens or the laser diode is bad.

SOURCE: My DVD player keeps
Diagnosing the fauty parts on dvd player is quite technical but i will suggest a diy solution that may help you on your problem.
Try cleaning the Lens of your DVD(It might be covered by dust thats why it can't read any disc) by a soft cotton bud. Be careful while doing these and try if it will work.
If the problem is still there then i've advice you to send it to repair shop to replace the faulty parts.
Thanks for using fixya.
