From the manual - page 8.
Use only branded two-stroke air-cooled engine oils with the classification TC for mixing. The mix ratio is 25 ~ 30 : 1.
We recommend Shell Super Two Stroke Oil since it is specially tested fr use in SHIBAURA engines.
The mix ratio is 50 : 1

Also, use regular branded gasoline with a minimum octane number of 90.

SOURCE: what fuel ratio do I

Check on the fuel cap or near the fuel cap. Some brands have it there, if it says at all on the equipment.

SOURCE: My neighbor borrowed my blower,

depending on how long he ran it there may be internal damage to the engine. if you have not ran it i would suggest draining the tank and replacing with the proper mix. start the blower and see how it act. if he did do any damage you will know as soon as you start it. if you are not able to get it started the the rings may be junk.

The mixture should be at a 50:1 ratio, using Premium Exact Mix™ 2-cycle engine oil. If Premium Exact Mix™ 2-cycle engine oil is not available, use a high quality 2-cycle engine oil, mixed at a 50:1 ratio.

You can get the manual on the link below if you need it also.

Could you tell me what the fuel to oil ratio is for a Homelite HB 180V gas leaf blower? Thanks

40:1 is the ratio. One of those little 2-cycle oil bottles poured into one gallon of gas will give you this ratio.

Need a Manual for HomeLite Leaf Blower Vacuum Model Ut08934B, specifically for fuel mixture ratio.

Most 2 stroke engines.......99% now use 50 to 1 mix in the fuel.
Others are close to this ratio.

Older....over 20 to 30 years old ........that may have had 20 to 1 ....or other ratios run happily on a 50 to 1 ratio using the newer 2 stroke oils.
And......BONUS.......they have increased engine life because of reduced semi burnt oil build up caused by "too much oil".......particularly around the rings on the piston(s) etc.

  • Echo recommends 89 octane fuel and 50:1 mix to one gallon gas for your pb2100
  • go to this site and find fuel and read about it if you would like
  • i use 40:1 in everything i have and have had no problems
  • The oil you buy make sure it is for 2 cycle engines and not outboard motors
  • 50:1 =2.6oz to i gallon gas
  • 40:1 =3.2 oz to i gallon gas
