Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Our Fisher Paykel OS302 completly overheated

The thermostats have probably blown. There is a rebuild kit for this problem, it is not cheap nor is the labor to do it. Try shutting off the breaker for a few minutes... sometimes it will reset, but not heat. In any event you should have the new thermostat kit installed. F/P should at least be able to give you the tele. of a Tech., keep in mind that depending on where you live there are very few technicians that are certified to fix these.

get an electrician in to fix it
the red wire is normally the active (power wire) and the blue is the neutral wire
if you fit the blue to a red terminal then you could be dead, blow the circuit or blow a circuit breaker
be safe call an electrician

I have a F & P Aeron Qantum built-in Oven about 7 years old. It has hardly been used. The top and bottom grills do not come on. The light and air blower does come on. Any ideas?

I am assuming you have an electric unit.......Most likely it is a 220V and is actually 2 110V circuits....there are 2 fuses or circuit breakers that power your unit...replace the fuse or reset the breaker ... what ever applies to you....if the breaker trips or fuse blows again you will need a quilified tech. to assist you further. Please reply.

F3 fault code on fisher & paykel wall oven.

hELLO THERE:
on these ovens the f-3 can sometime be incorporated with the f-4 error code also so here is the code and the things to look for both ok ?
F3 - F4 Open oven temperature sensor (circuit) (over 2700 ohms) or, shorted oven temperature sensor. Could be a result of:
· contamination on terminals
· pinched wire in oven temperature sensor circuit
· cold solder joint on control. · Disconnect power to range and remove oven temperature sensor connector from control.
· Measure oven temperature sensor resistance at oven temperature sensor connector (take care not to damage terminals in block) - Should read 1100 ohms at room temperature (approx 72 degrees F).
· Measure each oven temperature sensor lead from connector block to ground. If shorted, look for pinched or cut wire in oven temperature sensor circuit.
· Check connector terminals - Look for deformed or corrosion on terminals. Repair or replace.
If all above is ok replace control.

After self cleaning the oven will not heat

OK-  Here we go.  Sorry - no good news -ever- with 'self-clean' . This 'feature' is called "Self-Destruct" by most Techs. Full power flow for up to three hours destroys circuits and controls. Switches, circuits, and computers can and will fail with repeated use.  Fisher/Paykel ovens will fail just like any other.  If same issues as before, we have info on how to replace components.  On-site diagnostics is usually required, as multiple failures can occur during 'self-clean'. Good F/P Techs are hard to come by, so get solid estimates before repairs if you go that way.  Please acknowledge this post if helpful.  Have more info if needed- Thanks- Ed
