A software license must be entered to obtain full functionality. i have the key but not the License # 000-000-000-0000-0000? The tower crashed and I have gotten cameras back up but video feed is scrambled. How can i fix this. Says i need license # to install. I need this #. How do i obtain this?

I would suggest contacting the manafacturer to fix this issue. If the license key is invalid they will be able to let you know why.

Yes, the license key and produsct code are required. These are embedded into the windows registry at the time of install, and are not stored in the backup.
In fact, these need to be entered to get the software operational to restore the backup file.
