I have an e525 that i got about two mnths ago and it was working fine up until a couple of days ago. I had the norton antivirus trial but it expired last week and i didn't renew it. Now everytime i turn it on a little red screem pops up saying something is infected. I close it and it pops up every couple of seconds saying something about a security tool. There are certain things i cannot open. Then all of a sudden the screen goes blue and I have to shut it down. How do i dind out what it is and how do i get rid of the problem????

You have a Virus. The boxes popping up are part of the virus. You will need to get some type of virus protection to remove them but what ever you do, Do Not click one of those boxes. This virus actually takes you to a hack site that basically steals all your information while it pretends to install a program on your computer.

You got infected with a fake security scammer. It self has put on your pc a lot more viruses so that your system is now completely corrupted.
The only way to fix this level; of infection is to reinstall from scratch. Once the reinstall is completed, and before you put your files back, install a good antivirus like Avast, which is free for home use, all you have to do to keep it is to register it.

Renewal free norton Antirus 2010.

If you only need the anti-virus component of Norton 360 (it also includes an email filter and some other components) then I would recommend a newly-available free antivirus program, see the instructions for installation here:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r5317428-actually_free_antivirus_software_windows

However, if you do need the other components of Norton 360 I would choose another paid software. You can either go online to Norton's website and download the newest version of Norton 360 here:
http://antivirus.norton.com/content/en/us/home_homeoffice/html/paid/seo02252010/SEO_Static_Option_3_Col_Radio_02252010.html?om_sem_cid=hho_sem_sy:us:ggl:en:e|kw0000004480|5995564156&om_sem_site={adcopy}
When the program tells you that it has expired five days ago there is likely a link in this window for a website at which you can renew your subscription. This is likely a cheaper alternative to buying an entire new version of Norton 360 and will do the same thing, so try following this link and paying to increase your subscription if you want the suite of security software.

Your computer will now be secured from threats again!

Ive got norton all ready on my pc it has got 6 days left on it can install a new one now or do have to wait till it has run out

First, its a trial, meaning that if you want to continue using norton AFTER the trial time is over (6days according to what you said), then you must buy the full version from their website.
Wait until it expires, and then purchase it from their website so you can keep using it forever.
Though even if you uninstall it and re-install it after it expires, it still would be expired until you purchase it.

Cheers ;)

Norton trial version expired but not uninstalled

1. Yes, uninstall before installing any other antivirus program or security suite. Your computer (and you) will be happier.
2. Once you uninstall the trial version of Norton, go ahead and download One Care. I've heard some good things about it, but haven't used it personally or seen it installed on a client's computer.
3. Symantec/Norton has made improvements to their software uninstalls. If you have a newer version of Norton installed, it should cleanly uninstall from the Add/Remove programs area. If it's older, you may have issues getting it to uninstall - leaving remnants as you mentioned. Symantec has help removing their software completely on their support site if you need help.

Hope this helps! : )
