Hello,

The c240 version 1 player can connect in 2 different modes.
MTP mode, is the standard / default mode, when having Windows Media Player installed on your computer. See next link:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/389

MSC mode, when having the player switched to this mode.
From the Main Menu, select Settings > USB Mode: select MSC mode.
After this you can use the 'copy and paste' or 'drag and drop method'.

For using iTunes, in combination with a MAC computer see next link:

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

The tracks all say bad track and will not play, how do I fix the problem?

These tracks are corrupt Delete all Format
Go to my computer scroll to sansa or your MP3 player and open the music folder and open each sub folder and delete Songs manually then delete the folders them selfs then format a couple of times hope this works

Try and drag and drop2.gif from your music folder to the media folder on the player make sure usb mode is msc this will show you all the folders Use your windows explorer for the transfer... much easier...If you don't have copies of your music copy to a folder on the computer first

Cant transfer limewire music from my computer to my mp3

Greetings!
Once you insert the mp3 player, the computer automatically detect the device, were you can see the folder inside of your mp3, create a folder from file, new, folder.

Now open the folder where the music was downloaded usually you can see that file at my document, save/complited folder, select all the file, copy

Open the new folder (which you created) in the mp3 then paste the songs that was downloaded.

To play the music in the mp3 player, just find the folder you created.
Thanks

Playing a song?

Did you use your own cd's? If so, did you use Windows Media Player to copy (rip) them to your computer? Windows Media Player, by default, has "copy protect my music" selected. To remove this, in Windows Media Player select Tools>Options>Rip Music and un-check the copy protect my music mark. You will need to delete the music you already transferred, then re-copy the music without protection, then re-transfer them to your device. Best of Luck.
